Proud Mom!

Yesterday was the elementary end of the year assembly.  The school gave out a "special citizenship" award to one boy and one girl from each class.  Who got the award from the Kindergarten AM class.....yup, Gid and Gracie.  This award was chosen by the teacher for the child who most exuded these qualities....Friendly to others, polite, good students, tries their hardest in all things, compassionate, , and always cares for others.  They were very surprised when their names were called (they were the first ones) I however had been told so I could come and watch them get this special award.  The principal awarded them a gold medal with their names on it and the year.  She also mentioned how cool it was that they were brother and sister and had both been awarded this incredible prize.  She then mentioned that Gid and Grace were the kind of friends that all kids want to have!

Am I a proud mom of these incredible kids?  YOU BET.   Seeing them grow up so fast is so hard but seeing the kind of kids they are becoming is so rewarding.  I love them (and Halle) so much.  Being a mom is the greatest gift in life.

My baby.........

is growing up.  It seems just yesterday this little (well as little as 10 lbs 2 oz can be) came into our family.

What an angel.  We miss those days but love her so much.
Halle got to have two parties this year.  One was combined with Grandma Blauer who has a birthday just 4 days before Halle.  She loved it and says "I love Grandma Blauer because her favorite color is purple like me."
Enjoying her Dora guitar from Grandma and Grandpa Blauer.

Her pink bat from mom and Dad.
Her Dora baby from Grandma and Grandpa Taylor (this doll goes everywhere with us.  Even rides in her basket for 3 mile bike rides.

Halle wanted an angel cake.  She designed the whole cake/

blowing out candles.

Her raincoat and umbrella from Grandma Nette and Grandpa Air.
This was not her birthday but she came out the other morning looking like this.  When I asked her what she had been doing she said "nothing"  I asked her if she had been playing in my makeup and she looked totally shocked and asked how I knew.  I wonder.......

This was the cake we made for mom's birthday.  Lets say it was very chocolaty.  I know lisa loved it.

Grandma and Halle blowing out candles.  It was a great birthday and we just love having Halle around.  She keep life entertaining and busy  (very very busy).

What we have been up to...

We have been very busy the last few months.  Not much time to blog.  I have decided since April is almost done we will skip the Christmas post.  We have had tons of changes in our lives.  To start Wendi quit her job in Sept...and is still working.  Yup.  However after over 4 months someone was hired to replace me.  I have been training since January.  Things are finally starting to slow down a little bit.  Since then I have been offered another (lots less hours) job that is again out of my home.  I am enjoying that a lot though.  Tons and Tons less hours and lots less stress. It is kinda hard right now still working two jobs but with summer coming it better get better because I plan on playing a ton with my kids.  The other thing is we got released from Webelos.  Brian was but in as the Dayton Ward Financial Clerk.  He loves it.  I was released and have the coolest calling in the whole ward.  Sunbeams!  I love it.  Kinda challenging right now but it will get better.  Hal loves it though and is a big help.  We are so so excited that warm weather and can't wait for summer.  We plan on doing tons of camping, bike riding and maybe a 5k (if Wendi does not chicken out again). Fun times
This is the happiest baby in the world.  Reddick.
The goofy positions this dog sits in.
Gid lost two teeth.  Since these were taken he has these two holes filled in.
 Cousin love.
 Such cute kiddo's
Halle and bff Chloe, and lil Berkley with baby.
Halle and Hogan came out the other day dressed like this.  Notice Halle's extra leg room!
 Worlds cutest firemen.
Such a great baby....look out Becki.
The Easter egg hunt at the St. George Temple View RV park.  So much fun.
Kids with their loot.  Seriously they got over 5 lbs of candy.
I love this picture so much.  Maybe because they are actually getting along.
The super fun water park....and it is free!
Our little Hal.  This was the day after she got lost at the craft fair with thousands of people.  Very scary 15 minutes but Lisa finally found her and she was not even freaking out for mom.  Lets just say mom did not fair so well.  We had a very serious talk later.
I love this little gal, still a good thing she is so cute with some of the stunts she pulls.
Our three cuties.  Love those kids.
 Playing with dad.
Halle the dare devil.  We had to make sure she had a life jacket on at all times.  She has no fear.
She had so much fun with her Dad.
 So so cute.
 Cute little butt cheeks.
Bath time.  I went to check on them and this is what I found.  At least they were modest.
Our little ballerina.  She is ready for dance to start again.
 Such a doll.
This is the kids big birthday gift this year.  They love it and play on it constantly.  I love it to when making calls on bills.  It is lots quieter now.

That is our life lately.  We are loving life and really want to be done with office work.  Other than that, not much to complain about.

Halle's new name.....

Halle decided on Sunday she wants a new name with 7 names. She proceeded to tell me her new name........Angel Halle Sparkles Autumn Taylor Rainbow Barbi -House. Brian told her good luck trying to learn to spell that one!

I have been told the last 3 Sunday's in a row what incredible kids I have. They are so respectful, polite, quiet, just good kids. I have been told I need to teach parenting classes because my kids are so so good and other kids are just not. This has even been mentioned by our Primary Presidency who have sought me out. I always ask if Halle is included in those comments or just Gid and Grace (and if any of you know Halle you would know why I ask). I have been assured Halle is just great. Well.................I guess she got tired of it. Sunday she and 3 other little girls from her primary class (where the teachers were we don't know) went into the bathroom and locked the door. Nobody could get in and those 4 little girls were the only ones in the bathroom. They then proceeded to yell for 2 minutes straight until someone decided to unlock the door from the inside. Yup, Halle was pretty much blamed for it from her sunbeam teacher. Gotta love those people that blame everything on a 3 year old. However the teacher then thought she needed to seek out the adorable lady in the Primary Presidency and tattle on the 3 year olds she has no control over. The lady's response.....laughed her head off, she thought it was so funny that these little girls did it. Gotta love Sue. Lets just say Halle has been talked to and will probably be blamed for every problem that the sunbeams have this year.

Reddick Jeff Mumford

So, I have not had time to blog lately so there is many posts today. My fav. I am a aunt again. Reddick was born Nov 29, he weighed 7 lbs 8 oz. He is so so cute. He is such a good baby. Look out for that Becki and don't gloat or you know what will happen.
Gracie just is so good with Reddick. Reddick loves Gracie also. He would always kinda fuss when someone took him away.

Halle, not to sure what to think
So good she moves him all over. Thanks aunt Becki for giving him up so much, lets just say he is well loved.
Brotherly love
Um, what can I say?
All the Cousins. We are glad Reddick is here safe and sound

Salt Lake City!

The kids earned a trip to Salt Lake and we made the most of it! We went to see the lights at temple square and we rode the trax from the ball field to the temple. The lights were awesome just WAY to many people.
We also went to the dinosaur museum. This was just awesome. It was quite inexpensive and just fun.

Gid took this picture. Not to shabby for a 5 year old.

These next two pics are of Brian offering Halle to the T-rex. She was not happy with anything with teeth and hated the robotic dinosaurs. Gid thought the were so so cool.

Wrestling the lizard.
Halle and Grace.
The worlds most dangerous creature. In hindsight I probably should have had Halle be in this picture. It would have been more fitting.
Gid
Riding the Croc. This is just a great place to visit but if you go go in the summer. There is tons of room to move around and so much to see, plus they have picnic places everywhere. It was a way fun trip. The kids are already asking to go back.
